RESOURCES FOR SCIENTISTS & CLINICIANS

RESEARCH ENABLING RESOURCES

We provide access to a small but growing suite of MEC-relevant resources including:

  • CELL LINES & XENOGRAFT MODELS

cureMEC partners with the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) to maintain and distribute MEC cell lines through ATCC’s global network. LEARN MORE

  • BIOSPECIMENS

cureMEC supports research by providing access to high-quality biospecimens from MEC patients. We facilitate both the distribution of existing samples and the acquisition of new specimens. LEARN MORE

  • SEQUENCING DATA

cureMEC has partnered with the Rare Cancer Research Foundation (RCRF) to build a publicly available MEC data commons that fosters collaboration, drives innovation, and ultimately improves outcomes for patients. LEARN MORE

MEC Resources for Researchers

We deeply appreciate the growing community of scientists and clinicians dedicated to advancing treatments and improving the lives of people affected by MEC. At cureMEC, our goal is to support your success by providing resources, fostering collaboration, and helping accelerate the development of new therapies. Through our research network, funding opportunities, and shared data and tools, we aim to make MEC research more impactful and accessible. We welcome partnerships with investigators and industry teams worldwide—please reach out to our research team to explore how we can work together to move MEC research forward.

FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

We fund high impact MEC research and are actively seeking out new researchers to take on MEC. We also fund the development of new MEC cell lines and xenograft models. Funding requests will be considered at any time and can be initiated by submitting a one-page letter of intent, including specific aims and estimated budget, to our research team. These will be reviewed in consultation with our scientific advisors.

WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE TO OUR MISSION

Acknowledgements

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the patients and families who generously donated tumor samples, making the development of these MEC models possible. We also recognize the dedicated researchers whose expertise and perseverance brought these models to life, as well as the donors and supporters whose contributions ensure that these vital resources can be shared with the broader research community.
