The cureMEC Biobank

Through an IRB-approved protocol, cureMEC collects, stores, and distributes biospecimens along with associated clinical information from MEC patients. Our growing collection includes samples from numerous surgical cases, preserved in formats such as formalin-fixed (FFPE), flash-frozen and/or frozen in preservation media. Specimens are contributed by patients as well as through collaborations with leading medical centers. Specimens are stored, processed and distributed through a partnership with the Rare Cancer Research Foundation.
