Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Nearly 25,000 children around the world will be diagnosed with cancer this month alone.

Every year, more children are being diagnosed with cancer and yet federal funding for pediatric cancer research is still only at 4% of their yearly cancer research budget.

Meanwhile, our kids are suffering through toxic chemotherapy treatments that are over 40 years old and that were never meant for young bodies. Even more depressing is that in many cases these toxic treatments don't work. Yet we try them anyway. We have no other choice.

We must do better! These are our babies.
